Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in technical program management.
- Experience driving technical programs in cloud infrastructure or software engineering domains.
- Experience managing technical projects within the infrastructure or cloud domain.
- Experience in technical leadership.
- Experience managing people or teams.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience leading programs involving AI-assisted development pipelines, machine learning infrastructure, or agentic automation.
- Experience cultivating psychologically safe team cultures and focusing on the continuous growth and enablement of direct reports.
- Experience managing software infrastructure, capability planning, and dependency management across organizational frameworks.
- Experience engaging with engineering leads at an architectural level to evaluate technical trade-offs and drive prioritization.
- Experience reshaping processes, foundational platform layers, and operational models within an organization.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $240000 - $333000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Serve as a dedicated coach and mentor to a high-performing, senior team of technical program managers to nurture career growth.
- Formulate clear structures to inform and influence decision-making for organizations, ensuring infrastructure and platform offerings meet AI demands.
- Oversee large-scale infrastructure scaling programs and manage multiple horizontal requirements across ISP and AIF domains while mitigating risks.
- Communicate program status, strategic roadmaps, resource constraints, and technical risks effectively to senior engineering and product leadership.
- Define clear metrics, delivery frameworks, and portfolio-level reporting mechanisms to maintain high standards of execution and accountability.
