Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
- 6 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in an investigative role such as business intelligence, data analytics, or statistics.
- Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience or interest in the media industry.
- Experience in the TV/CE/embedded space. Familiar with RDK, Android TV or similar TV platform architecture.
- Strong communication, team-work, and investigative skills and outstanding organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills. Ability to speak to both business and technical stakeholders.
About the job
As a Partner Engineer on the Devices Platform Operations team, you will lead deployments, optimize implementations, and manage integrations to build strong, successful, long-term device partnerships. You will own technical engagements and will be the key driver in finding creative/innovative solutions that lead them to the next level.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead projects and teams that require close collaboration with other teams like Product, Engineering, Business Development, and Operations. You will play a key role in improving existing operations, defining and commercializing new solutions, bridging product gaps, automating partner operations and taking new initiatives from conception to successful deployment.
You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $152000 - $221000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Lead implementation reviews, resolve technical challenges, and ensure seamless partner integrations across Mobile and Living Room devices with comprehensive documentation.
- Guarantee the technical aspects of a partner’s integration (both new and ongoing) by providing necessary documentation and technical guidance. Identify, drive, and optimize the business flow from existing and new business opportunities by leveraging YouTube technologies.
- Work closely with external partners and our cross-functional teams within Mobile and Living Room devices to help ensure projects are aligned with business and technical objectives. Work closely with our YouTube Engineering teams responsible for development of the SDK, help evangelise and educate partners on new releases.
- Access Google AI resources to streamline workflows—leveraging DeepMind AlphaEvolve for memory optimization and Gemini models to build agents for automated on-device testing, regression detection, and remediation.
