Marketing Manager, YouTube Shopping, Latin America (English, Spanish, Portuguese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in marketing working across one or more marketing fields (i.e. growth, product marketing, brand marketing, social).
  • 4 years of experience in product marketing, go-to-market, partner marketing, on a consumer product.
  • Ability to communicate in English, Portuguese and Spanish fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Track record in delivering business growth through a full-funnel marketing campaign in the e-commerce industry.
  • Ability to launch go-to-market (GTM) for strategic partnerships marketing at scale, with a track record of proactively building and executing end-to-end solutions.
  • Ability take initiative and be an independent thinker.
  • Excellent investigative and strategic thinking, leveraging quantitative analysis and market insights to develop a basis for recommendation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, strategic and investigative capabilities; and project management skills with the ability to work independently and on multiple initiatives at the same time.

About the job

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As the YouTube Shopping Marketing Manager for Latin America, you will be at the forefront of defining and executing our strategy to drive Creator adoption and engagement. This is a highly strategic role that requires an understanding of consumer behavior to transform and scale our shopping platform across all regional markets. You will be highly involved actively running marketing campaigns and designing product marketing initiatives from the ground up. You will act as the critical link, connecting creators, merchants, and users, and leveraging user insights and e-commerce expertise to lead high-impact, data-driven go-to-market plans. You will orchestrate growth and innovative product marketing, creating a strong flywheel.

This is a multifaceted role requiring exceptional initiative, a willingness to experiment with new strategies, and the ability to manage a variety of global projects under tight deadlines. Collaboration is key; you will work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Global Marketing teams, Content Partnerships, and Executive Leadership to influence strategy and investment globally.

Responsibilities

  • Support YouTube Shopping Marketing in Latin America by deeply understanding creators, users, merchants and the landscape of e-commerce to unlock growth opportunities.
  • Lead holistic go-to-market strategy and integrated marketing campaigns by shaping the product journey and translating user insights into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Drive the execution of all campaigns and events, leading measurable results that generate key learnings to be scaled globally behind strong analytical capabilities.
  • Lead and support cross-functional stakeholders, while managing relationships with external agencies and partners to ensure successful execution and amplify the impact.
  • Be a true product, user and industry expert.
