About the job

We put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day.

As a Product Manager for YouTube Shorts Creation Growth, you will step into a high-visibility role focused on turning millions of everyday viewers into active creators. You will own the product strategy for quick, easy ways to create on YouTube. This includes rethinking how the Shorts people watch can spark videos of their own, and leveraging Generative AI to help anyone go from inspiration to a finished Short. You will personalize creation shortcuts in the Shorts feed, launch AI prompt ideas that make creating effortless, and bring creation tools to new places across the platform.

In this role, you will drive the product lifecycle from initial conception to global launch, translating complex generative AI capabilities into intuitive, frictionless creative tools. You will bridge the gap between advanced technical research and everyday user needs, breaking down ambitious AI features into clear roadmaps that seamlessly integrate creation shortcuts directly into the Shorts viewing experience.

One of the many reasons we consistently bring innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. You will partner closely with creative engineers, UX designers, AI researchers, and Trust and Safety teams to help design and develop technologies that empower users to share their stories. You will be responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, and tailoring our AI creation tools to our global community.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
