- Experience executing and managing partnerships and negotiating agreements.

- Master's degree or other advanced degree.
- Experience managing partnerships.
- Experience working autonomously in an ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
- Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
About the job
The AI, Research and Core Partnerships team supports partnerships for the global product areas of research, Google DeepMind (GDM), and core. The team empowers and enables project teams by understanding their mission, identifying partners, initiating relationships, negotiating agreements, and serving as a strategic advisor to advance the product area objectives, including the launch of new AI models.
The team also works with the GAPP and Country teams, as well as with the global generative AI data acquisition teams in GDM, research and core partnerships teams, and also several cross-product area and cross-functional stakeholders.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential partners. Build and manage pipeline aligned with GDM's strategic priorities.
- Lead negotiation of multiple partnership agreements, navigating commercial terms, usage rights, data specifications, and legal/ethical compliance considerations.
- Build collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure seamless agreement execution.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the AI landscape, key players, and emerging trends.
- Adhere to and contribute to refining the team's operational processes, ensuring efficient agreements, accurate pipeline management, and continuous improvement.
