Strategic Partner Manager, Partnerships (Fixed Term Contract)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish and Italian fluently to support client relationships in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing creator partnerships, including tracking performance metrics, forecasting business outcomes, and maintaining positive partner perception.
  • Knowledge of regional digital content trends paired with a solid understanding of Google’s partner ecosystems.
  • Ability to plan and execute prioritized projects within timelines, utilizing structured methodologies and social media/brand strategy insights.
  • Ability to resolve complex partner issues, advocate for account needs, and utilize strong negotiation and sales skills.
  • Proven success working effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver successful initiatives.

About the job

We're seeking a dynamic Strategic Partnerships Development Manager in Italy to cultivate and manage high-impact partnerships, specifically focusing on creators and creator 3Ps. In this role, you'll be instrumental in building and strengthening relationships with key industry partners, consulting our partners on their YouTube strategy, and meticulously tracking their impact to drive both our mutual success.

You'll contribute to the strategic development of YouTube's partnerships in Italy. Your contributions will not only drive business objectives but also enhance our company culture. This position is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) running from July 2026 - January 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business goals for Italy and Spain by providing strategic guidance, business planning, and content strategies to accelerate partner success and platform health.
  • Lead product adoption and optimization through strategic deals, content acquisitions, and priority activations to ensure a robust, high-performing content corpus.
  • Build a network of platform advocates by leveraging YouTube Marketing, PR, and cross-Google opportunities to influence the regional ecosystem and market sentiment.
  • Orchestrate end-to-end resolution of complex partner escalations, educating stakeholders on policy/copyright while collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain rigorous account and deal hygiene.
  • Inform product roadmaps by managing creator pilots and beta testing, while contributing to the Googler community through cross-functional collaboration and continuous expertise development.
