Strategic Partner Manager, YouTube Shopping

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, investment banking or e-commerce.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing complex, end-to-end partnerships.
  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
  • Experience in e-commerce and media.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
  • Excellent consultation, problem solving and investigative skills regarding contractual, technical and financial issues.

About the job

As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you'll open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. You are comfortable escalating and presenting business development strategies and key issues to senior management. You'll work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships that support our online advertising business. Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic partnerships with e-commerce partners to drive positive impact to YouTube watch time, partner earnings and user growth.
  • Identify and lead exploratory discussions with partner C-level for strategic, innovative ideas to grow content ecosystem in market and globally, with responsibility.
  • Lead and own partner's YouTube business growth by religiously tracking key metrics and analysis key trends and highlighting issues and drive agenda in business review meetings.
  • Identify key industry trends and participate in keys industry events to cement YouTube's role and positioning to the content, media and marketing industry.
  • Collaborate closely with the country cross-functional stakeholders to represent YouTube, and actively partake in cross-functional efforts that drive country core business holistically from users, usage, business generation, Brand and Rreputation, Communications and Key Opinion Former (KOF) relationship.
