Operations Manager, Solutions, gUP Intake and Readiness

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience analyzing data and generating business insights.
  • 7 years of experience in a customer or client-facing role supporting global executive stakeholders and working with technical user-facing products.
  • 7 years of experience developing operational process solutions, and working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or project management in a scale environment.
  • Experience in working with multiple cross-functional business teams and stakeholders to set up, stabilize and scale new product operations.
  • Experience in leading global workgroups, including influencing executive stakeholders and building consensus among disparate viewpoints toward a common goal.
  • Ability to influence across various executive stakeholders, through excellent written and verbal communication, including presentation creation and delivery.
  • Excellent executive presence and ability to fluently interpret data, present them in a meaningful and simple manner and drive data based decision-making.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As a part of the Operations Solutions team, you will be the primary interface point for the Product Verticals into the Service Delivery team under gUP Operations. You will specialize in streamlining program design to ensure operational excellence. You will translate complex requirements into scalable, cost-effective, and customer-centric solutions, as the team drives value for both consumers and stakeholders.

We achieve this by meeting partners and consumers where they are with support and help, representing their needs with our product partners and proposing fixes and features that elevate their engagement with Google's diverse product ecosystem. Additionally we provide a range of product services that ensure our products are optimized for every user, no matter where they are in the world (e.g., localization, digitization, partner integration and more).Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $136000 - $197000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Partner with product vertical support teams to understand product-specific support needs and develop operational strategies grounded in existing and emerging capabilities.
  • Manage internal stakeholder relationships across multiple cross-functional teams, serving as Operations and an advocate for users to bridge operational capabilities with business objectives.
  • Identify and regularly share product-specific opportunities for improving the product and support experience with relevant stakeholders while leading cross-functional execution of operational strategies in partnership with vendor managers to ensure timely delivery and performance in line with Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals.
  • Lead annual planning and budgeting activities for your portfolio of products across 1:1, Community and Social channels and ensure spend across the year tracks toward goals.
  • Drive cross-product projects to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness while driving more satisfying and delightful experiences for users.
