Strategic Partner Development Manager, Chrome and Ecosystem Partnerships (Korean, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Ability to communicate in Korean and English fluently to support partner relationship management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing partnerships with web platforms and service providers with knowledge of emerging web technologies and AI integrations.
  • Experience managing complex, end-to-end partnerships in a dynamic and ambiguous environment.
  • Experience developing strategies and representing them to senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Strong expertise in product partnerships, agreement negotiations and pipeline management.
  • Strong knowledge of Korea partner ecosystem and market opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage internal and external stakeholders.

About the job

As a Strategic Partner Development Manager in Korea, you will drive high-impact partnerships focused on the growth and adoption of Chrome and Web Ecosystem technologies. You will develop and execute regional strategies aligned with global priorities, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful rollout of web products and features. By engaging with key industry stakeholders, partners, and developers, you will help shape the future of the open web and secure strategic success stories that inspire broader engagement. Your expertise in relationship-building and strategic execution will play a critical role in positioning partners for long-term success within a rapidly evolving web and browsing landscape.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic partner engagement in Korea for Chrome and Web Ecosystem initiatives. Develop and execute regional plans to scale Chrome’s first-party AI capabilities through third-party ecosystem integrations. 
  • Work closely with priority partners to optimize Chrome for AI tools and agentic experiences, ensuring a sustainable and functional open web. Secure high-profile partner case studies for major events like Google I/O and regional conferences to showcase innovation on the web.
  • Drive growth and engagement in key segments, specifically growing Chrome presence on Desktop and iOS.
  • Collaborate with industry bodies and key opinion leaders in Korea to advocate for web platform standards and growth. Invest in Platforms and Devices ecosystem initiatives in Korea including new business areas and emerging bets.
  • Coordinate with regional and global cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of partnership goals and measurable outcomes.
