Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in deploying and supporting various physical security technologies including both access control and video management systems.
Preferred qualifications:
- 10 years of experience deploying, administering, supporting physical security technologies through an increasing level of scope and responsibility.
- 3 years of experience in program development.
- Experience developing project plans to deliver customer-oriented results with strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to engage in technical conversations in the physical security domain with system administrators, field technicians, and system designers.
- Ability to effectively evaluate work problems and program goals to efficiently prioritize projects and tasks in support of the broader strategic objectives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to convey technical insights to a non-technical audience.

As a Technical Operations Regional Lead for Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS), you will be a part of the team responsible for the development and sustainment efforts for a variety of applications that keep Googler’s safe and secure. With your expertise in physical security technology, managing vendor partners and critical operations, you will join the GSRS Global Security Systems team.
From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Manage regionally based vendor operations for technical operations, credential management operations and physical access operations, as it relates to credential production and distribution, project management to integrate new physical security assets into Google’s enterprise security applications, manage asset lifecycle, and provide 24/7 customer and technical support.
- Build relationships with key partners and stakeholders to ensure/validate vendor team is maintaining quality customer support, promptly addressing concerns through process updates or technology solutions.
- Scope, plan and manage data driven projects in collaboration with GSRS stakeholders.
- Conduct system audits and communicate findings/recommendations to a varied set of stakeholders, leveraging data to tell a clear and compelling story.
