Minimum qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, digital media sales, business development, online media environment, or digital marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in business.
  • Track record of exceeding revenue targets in ad sales, consultative sales, and Google Ads.
  • Ability to take initiatives and implement feedback quickly, manage high-volume workloads under pressure, and deliver dedicated client service.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.
  • Exceptional analytical and goal-seek logic skills, using statistics and research to craft compelling, data-driven client narratives.
  • Exceptional leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills.

As the Account Manager for the Career Platforms team, you will develop and manage relationships directly with Top Global and Japanese clients across HR and other lots of media platforms businesses. The team owns the mission to instigate digital transformation in large ad customers with high potential in Large Customer Sales (LCS). You will be an advisor and consultant, as well as an advocate for clients within Google. You are expected to counter their expert in-house teams with rapid, authoritative Google Point of View (POVs) and wide product mastery. Possessing this broad product baseline is a must-have to interface with these expert clients, ensuring Google is viewed by the customer as a critical problem solver.

We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, leading advertisers, and media/creative agencies, lead high-level strategic discussions to understand core business objectives, resolve complex legacy doubts, and nurture enduring, high-touch partnerships.
  • Analyze complex client, campaign, and product datasets under tight deadlines while spearheading the integration of AI tools within workflows to move beyond manual analysis and rapidly generate automated, data-backed hypotheses and strategies.
  • Spark accelerated revenue growth in stalling, underperforming, or high-value accounts by identifying critical performance gaps, untapped corporate opportunities, and strategic expansion levers.
  • Collaborate with internal technical specialists and Google product experts to leverage emerging advertising features, implement innovative solutions, and continuously optimize campaigns to maximize advertiser return-on-investement and drive outsized business performance.
