Business Program Manager, Data Center Operations

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in accounting and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • 2 years of experience managing the financial lifecycle, including accounting, contracting, budgeting, and financial administration.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
  • Experience in vendor management.
  • Experience in SAP, Sage, Oracle suite, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of local tax and administration.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong financial administration and modeling skills, including performing extensive spreadsheet work and monthly variance reviews.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

About the job

As a Data Center Business Program Manager, you will support our facilities technicians, managing the maintenance agreements of all facility related systems. You will lead cost control and contractor management for maintenance tasks and small projects, and work closely with the site Environment, Health and Safety department to ensure safety operations. You will have a pivotal role in ensuring that contractors deliver quality services according to agreed key performance indicators and that safety measures are being performed.

The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are an upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute work assignments with varying degrees of supervision.
  • Act as the point of contact for projects as assigned by the facility manager.
  • Prepare a statement of work (SoW) for facility operations agreements.
  • Obtain facilities-related vendor proposals, prepare purchase orders, and review/approve invoices.
  • Work with support service vendors to resolve conflicts and issues under the direction of the facility manager.
