Software Engineer, GDC AI Applications and Agents

  • 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience designing and deploying innovative new features within Kubernetes.

The AI Applications and Agents team is dedicated to establishing Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) as the leading on-premise cloud for Agentic AI. Our key objectives include delivering fully managed AI applications that meet critical customer needs, providing a robust and user-friendly Agent Platform, and driving the adoption of GDC for AI workloads beyond basic inference. We are building the foundational layer for customers to create, deploy, and manage Agentic AI applications, accessible through surfaces like the Gemini App and the GDC Marketplace, while continuously enhancing the AI developer experience on GDC.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $147000 - $210000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test features for user-facing AI applications built on GDC, responding to customer demands and strategic opportunities.
  • Implement components and services for the GDC Agent Platform, focusing on enabling customers to create, deploy, and manage Agentic AI applications efficiently. This may involve working on APIs, SDKs, and integrations.
  • Contribute to improving the AI Developer Experience on GDC by enhancing tools, streamlining workflows, and producing clear documentation and code examples.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, UX designers, and other engineering teams within GDC and Google AI to ensure seamless integration and delivery of AI solutions.
