The gSO Ads team functions as a vital strategic catalyst, optimizing the global scale and operational performance of the gTech Ads ecosystem. We lead the definition of core operating principles while ensuring rigorous execution and governance against organizational objectives. Our team members combine high-level analytical acumen with a pragmatic approach to driving measurable business outcomes and solving the most significant challenges.

The gTech Ads Strategy and Operations (gSO Ads) team is the strategic engine that powers the growth, efficiency, and scale of our gTech Ads ecosystem. As a Strategy & Operations Lead for the gSO Ads Product & AI team, you will serve as the strategic powerhouse and operational backbone for the gTech Ads TAI organization.

This is a high-impact, highly visible role designed for a strong problem solver who thrives in ambiguity and operates with absolute accountability. You will partner directly with the gTech Ads TAI leadership team, acting not just as a trusted advisor, but as an active champion and challenger of the status quo. You will be expected to seamlessly bridge the gap between high-level strategy and on-the-ground execution. If you excel at orchestrating complex cross-functional alignment, leading through influence, and driving tangible improvements in customer experience and growth, this role offers a unique platform to shape the future of our Ads business.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $152000 - $222000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Drive complex, cross-functional strategic projects from start to finish with limited guidance, managing project milestones and influencing across teams to align resources and direction.
  • Identify and develop go-to-market strategies for the gTech Ads Product portfolio, including new business growth (customer growth) and service models, and launch cross-functional initiatives to address key business needs.
  • Solve complex business problems that have multiple potential solutions, identifying and mitigating potential roadblocks and operational inefficiencies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Develop and manage processes and programs to drive strong operational excellence, and build new frameworks to minimize future issues and scale best practices.
  • Develop relationships with cross-functional partners, including Director/Executive Director-level stakeholders, to ensure the integration of your team's activities with adjacent workstreams and strategic priorities.
