Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or Go.
- 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- 5 years of experience in a people management role managing other managers.
- 5 years of experience with large-scale distributed systems.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.

With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.

Responsibilities
- Drive best practices for distributed systems, mentor technical leaders (Staff/TLs), and advocate AI/LLM adoption for operational productivity (AIOps).
- Own multi-year roadmaps, navigate the ambiguity of bridging internal server platform infrastructure with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and discuss with executives to de-risk delivery milestones.
- Transform AppHub into the central registry for Google's AI Agents and workloads across both Google3 and Cloud-native environments.
- Bridge internal and external product catalogs while building reliable asset pipelines to automate Cloud CISO regulatory reporting and vulnerability scanning.
- Deliver infrastructure that provides unified, side-by-side visibility into server platform applications and GCP dependencies to enhance anomaly detection and incident mitigation.
