Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing, enterprise delivery, or technical support role.
  • Experience leading technical delivery strategies, debugging systems, and interfacing directly with product/engineering organizations.
  • Experience with enterprise integrations (e.g., APIs, identity providers), cloud infrastructure, or AI/ML model deployments.
  • Experience in system design or orchestration frameworks, and reading or debugging code in a general purpose coding language (e.g., Java, Python, Go).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience orchestrating specialized technical resources to execute complex builds.
  • Experience working with product and capacity teams to resolve technical and capacity blockers.
  • Experience engaging with, presenting to, and influencing technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
  • Ability to dive deep into novel technical problems, decipher extreme ambiguity, diagnose bugs, and emerge with credible architectural solutions.
  • Excellent executive communication skills, capable of translating deep technical integration issues into business impact.

You liaise with the product marketing management and engineering teams to stay on top of industry trends and devise enhancements to Google Cloud products.

As a senior Outcome Customer Engineer on our team in Sao Paulo, you will act as an enterprise architect, technical debugger, and engineering liaison, bridging the gap between pre-sales agreement shaping and post-sales execution. You will focus specifically on driving active consumption and tool adoption for our customers, utilizing modernization expertise combined with advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions.

In this role, you will lead upfront architectural designs, dive into code-level contexts to diagnose implementation issues, and serve as a definitive link between the field and core Google Product/Engineering teams. You will utilize your technical authority to steer implementation strategy and ensure that modern AI architectures scale successfully in enterprise client environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead upfront technical design for enterprise-grade AI and modernization solutions, ensuring seamless and secure integration of models, agents, and connectors into existing customer data pipelines, identity providers, and compliance boundaries.
  • Dive into code-level context to diagnose and resolve complex customer implementation issues, identify core product bugs, and test workarounds to clear execution roadblocks.
  • Serve as the definitive liaison to core Product and Engineering teams, troubleshooting systemic deployment blockers and translating real-world field feedback into actionable feature requests.
  • Partner with Account teams and practice Customer Engineers (CEs) during technical evaluation phases to assess project feasibility, shape proposals for long-term adoption, and validate Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) engagement requests.
  • Steer implementation strategy through technical authority and architectural foresight while owning the technical reality of delivery alongside customer-facing teams to drive product usage.
