Strategic Agency Manager (Korean, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience working in business development, marketing, or consultative sales.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in English and Korean with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting, brand marketing, or in a fast-paced media agency environment.
  • Experience improving business relationships and developing new business opportunities.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple complex projects with a broad range of internal and external constituents simultaneously.
  • Ability to think strategically about complex issues and develop recommendations and action plans.
  • Established relationships and presence with performance agencies or traditional media agencies.

Our Google Customer Solutions (GCS) team of entrepreneurial, enthusiastic and client-focused members of Google, help entrepreneurs both individually and broadly build their online presence and grow their businesses. We are dedicated to growing the unique needs of advertising companies. Our teams of strategists, analysts, advisers and support specialists collaborate closely to spot and analyze customer needs and trends. The GCS Agency team is responsible for driving incremental business growth via our full-service, creative and media agency partners.

As a Strategic Agency Manager, you will focus on growing long-term relationships with managed traditional media and digital agencies and drive growth through agency-managed accounts with large brand and performance opportunities. You will provide the highest level of customer service to our agency partners. You will develop Google solutions to drive business growth for high opportunity customers and with Account team and implement campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and consult with agencies with the goal of extending relationships, increasing our customer and agency base and optimizing their advertising investment.
  • Deliver consistently against strategic goals on new and existing business, while prioritizing and delivering an excellent business experience to Google's managed agency partners.
  • Build compelling, data-driven long-term agency plans leveraging market insights and research. Synchronize agency plans with our agency pod and internal cross-functional teams to further develop our agencies.
  • Be an ongoing trusted thought partner for executive C/B-level down to specific Account teams, including media planners and buyers on strategic initiatives and agency-level planning.
  • Analyze data trends and customer performance, develop solid strategic business plans, and prepare and conduct strategic pitches and business presentations.
