Partner Sales Manager, Japan AWT Business (Japanese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in professional sales within the enterprise SaaS, cloud, or technology software industry.
  • 5 years of experience in quota-carrying direct sales (e.g., Enterprise Account Executive, Corporate Sales Rep), including experience facilitating agreements and exceeding sales goals.
  • 3 years of experience in partner sales, channel management, or co-selling, including experience driving partner leverage across enterprise or corporate/commercial accounts.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently to engage with local partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Established relationships and experience working with leading Japanese System Integrators (SIs), Service Providers (SPs), and national resellers.
  • Track record in positioning, selling, or driving user adoption for Generative AI/LLM solutions (e.g., Gemini Enterprise, AI copilots, productivity SaaS).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage both complex, strategic enterprise agreement cycles and high-volume, programmatic corporate sales motions through partners.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to collaborate with APAC and global strategy/product teams.

As part of the Agentic Workplace Transformation (AWT) team, you will advocate the adoption of Google Workspace and Gemini Enterprise across Japan’s various commercial landscape, spanning Large Enterprise to Corporate/Mid-Market accounts, through strategic partner co-selling and scalable ecosystem engagement.

In this role, you will apply direct sales discipline to unlock partner-driven growth at scale. You will orchestrate high-touch co-selling on strategic Large Enterprise agreements, while simultaneously driving repeatable, high-velocity sales motions with partners to maximize coverage across Corporate accounts. Furthermore, you will lead partner-enabled post-sales initiatives to accelerate user adoption, prompt enablement, and active consumption of Gemini Enterprise across our customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Lead joint executive engagements on complex, high-value agreements in close collaboration with Google Cloud Enterprise Field Sales Representatives (FSR) and partner sales teams.
  • Design and execute scalable, partner-led sales plays to accelerate market adoption, agreement velocity, and broad territory coverage across Corporate/Mid-Market segments.
  • Drive partners to build a healthy, multi-segment sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and quota attainment across net-new revenue, expansions, and bookings.
  • Drive partner-led customer success and adoption programs for Gemini Enterprise (GE), empowering partners to deliver change management, user onboarding, and workflow optimization that directly increase MAU and seat expansion.
  • Guide partners in embedding GE into their internal business processes and packaged service offerings to serve as credible reference models for clients.
