Global Solutions Partner Development Manager

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience in supporting partners in creation of GTM offerings (e.g., application and infrastructure).
  • Experience in designing application and infrastructure solutions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in delivering cloud agreements.
  • Experience in taking new products and solutions to market, developing GTM offerings with partners based on industry and regional requirements.
  • Experience in conducting partner executive briefings along with understanding of industry offerings and excellent communication skills.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

In this role, you will work with partners to develop pipelines, land joint wins and accelerate customer and partner value including accelerating consumption for the joint solution offerings. You will also work with partners to drive the GTM initiative by leading the Go-to-Market (GTM) efforts for application and infrastructure. You will help define the business plays and act as a trusted advisor to the partner in the entire journey of identifying new opportunities, developing capabilities, solutions and service offerings, pursuing Go-to-Market business plays, landing wins and delivering customer success. You will drive execution of the campaigns in orchestration with partners technical, sales and marketing teams. You will be leveraging the experience in solution building, partner management, strategy and sales, demonstrating the aptitude and passion for working with partners to transform large organizations with Google Cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Help partners grow their business on Google Cloud by driving application and infrastructure solutions with the aim of serving as their trusted advisor for both pre-sales and post sales customer engagements.
  • Serve as the technical consultant for the strategic partners application and infrastructure practices. Conduct L200/L300-level technical sessions on Google Cloud's application and infrastructure.
  • Review and validate partner-developed solution architectures to ensure technical excellence, security, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to Google Cloud best practices. Provide direct technical guidance to partners on their solutions for performance and consumption.
  • Lead the life-cycle of GTM offering creation from business case, solutioning, planning and governance, business value, solution differentiation.
  • Support partners to jointly develop GTM offering, landing with the field.
