Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of sales experience in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS or IaaS products and platforms.
  • Experience engaging with accounts, selling a portfolio of products at C-level.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in AI/Cloud or other sales cycles.
  • Experience with large, complex commercial and legal negotiations working with procurement, legal, and business teams.
  • Experience promoting Google Cloud computing technologies to large and complex organizations across geographies.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and import and export talent and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.
  • Ability to influence decisions at the executive level.
  • Ability to present analyses and break down technical concepts into simple terms to present to technical and non-technical audiences.

As a Field Sales Representative (FSR) within the Large Conglomerate organization, you will manage the growth strategy for accounts across the large conglomerate ecosystem. You will build on existing relationships, establish relationships in new areas, and act as a business partner to understand customer issues and goals. You will advocate the innovative power of products and solutions to make organizations more productive, collaborative, and mobile. Google Cloud's unique capabilities empower large conglomerates to address critical needs in scaling, growth, and global expansion, while also offering advanced technologies that drive differentiation, customer acquisition, and business growth acceleration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead prospecting and acquisition of new logos, create and build customer relationships from scratch, and establish yourself as a trusted advisor on their long-term technology and business decisions.
  • Become an expert on the customers' business, including their SaaS product portfolio, technology strategy, growth plans, business drivers, financial structure, customer base, vertical market offering, and engaged landscape.
  • Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, working collaboratively with Customer Engineers, and Google Partners.
  • Understand each customer’s technology footprint, growth plans and business drivers, technology strategy and external landscape.
  • Drive business development, forecast accurately, and achieve goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
