Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 9 years of experience working in a creative technology, prototyping, or a related hybrid technical-creative role.
- A portfolio of creative work displaying experience in (Brand, Interactive, Conceptual, Experiential, or Technology) design.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Experience translating technical concepts into creative outputs or demonstrations.
- Experience with design tools and prototyping along with human-centered and iterative design methodologies.
- Experience with multiple coding languages and technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML5, C++, Python, Java, Go).
- Experience utilizing AI productivity tools to solve complex, multi-layered problems and streamline business or development workflows.
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices.

As a Creative in Marketing, you bring visual, design, written and experiential acumen to Google products and services, presented across all major media, content, channels, and experiences. You have the ability to perform your role in a flexible, ever-changing environment and must be open to new influences and inspiration. You will work with a deeply cross-functional team and inspire a team of vendor partners by sharing ideas and developing effective solutions to generate multiple concepts supporting all forms of major media. You will be equally comfortable making; rolling up your sleeves and designing, mocking, writing, or prototyping; showing, not telling. Above all, you will inspire and lead by example by making the most of every opportunity to develop breakthrough creative, consistent with the Google Marketing brand, and be able to take and provide clear direction and creative feedback that pushes work forward.
In this role, you will be working on some of Google's highest profile launch moments in the US, including but not limited to digital events, product releases, demos and sandboxes. As a Creative Technologist, you will apply your passion for designing technology to develop creative experiences.This can be expressed through tangible forms, through content, or through new tools that have yet to be developed.
You will be equally comfortable taking initiatives and coding or prototyping, showing, not telling. US: $171000 - $247000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Prototype interactive demos.
- Experiment with various APIs and libraries.
- Adapt quickly and learn new tech and platforms.
- Implement back-end services and set up environments.
- Work with a team of designers, writers, programmers and creatives while representing the technical side of the Events and Experiences and foster outside agency relationships as well as internal coordination with product teams.
