Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in partnerships and managing agreements.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or other advanced degree.
  • 7 years of experience as a Partnership Manager or in a similar role, with a track record of successful partnership development and management.
  • Experience executing and managing partnerships and negotiating agreements at scale.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, to drive programs and products.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

As a Partnerships Manager, you will accelerate and solidify Google's leadership in this space. You will play a critical role in developing and executing partnership strategies, building and nurturing relationships with key partners, negotiating agreements, and collaborating on joint initiatives, with key players in the ecosystem. You will be smart, hungry and ownership driven, coupled with strategic goal and operational execution, and looking to take responsibilities beyond their years of experience.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute GTM strategy and end-to-end high impact partnerships to grow the business and product. Proactively identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential partners, build and manage a robust pipeline aligned with the team’s strategic priorities.
  • Drive feature launches and growth by managing end-to-end partner relationships including identification of partners, negotiation, contracting, billing/invoicing, integration, launch and result tracking.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with partners through regular communication, proactive problem-solving, and ongoing support, evaluation of partnership performance, driving growth and business realization from the partnership and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Work closely with partners to develop and execute joint marketing campaigns, product launches, and other initiatives that drive mutual success. Work closely with cross-functional teams including but not limited to, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to ensure effective collaboration and alignment towards speedy execution.
