Head of Marketing, Google Cloud France

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with field marketing, product management, or business development, including 5 years of people management experience.
  • Experience with the local IT, cloud, and AI market (including growth drivers, business analytics, and market research), and experience with managing resources in field marketing initiatives.
  • Experience with stakeholder management across a matrixed organization at an executive level, and experience with adapting and implementing global and regional marketing strategies and campaigns locally.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Certifications in digital marketing, such as Google Ads or others.
  • 12 years of experience with field marketing, product management, or business development, including 5 years of experience leading teams.
  • Experience in business-to-business (B2B) marketing, preferably in an IT, SaaS or Cloud environment.
  • Proven ability to optimize spending for maximum ROI.
  • Ability to adapt marketing strategies to resonate with different cultural contexts for localization.

As the Head of Market, Google Cloud Marketing (GCM), you are accountable for planning and execution of campaigns and events in the local market in alignment with both global and regional product and demand generation marketing strategies, objectives and key results (OKRs). In this role, you will manage a team of field marketers to bring global marketing campaigns to life in your market, driving adoption of global strategy and ensuring operational and delivery excellence in all marketing efforts across direct and partner motions. As required, you will work closely with the Head of Sub-Region and Global Campaign or specialist area marketers to deliver region focused campaigns and events in your local market.

Responsibilities

  • Manage local field marketing teams and accountable for their performance across campaigns and events to meet demand generation, partner and channel-specific goals as well as brand/mindshare uplift expectations to drive and exceed intended results.
  • Manage and streamline market-specific operational issues (e.g., low-quality lead generation, low customer engagement, etc.) and manage impacts on Google Cloud’s reputation by collaborating with other market teams and regional marketing teams to drive multilayer and multi-touch focus prospects/customers in market.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to evaluate effectiveness of local marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and execute your market’s marketing plan and execution strategy, aligning with regional and global marketing  (e.g., including focus to adopt, adapt, and execute global campaigns, event, and segment-specific objectives and goals locally).
