Technical Solutions Consultant, Auto Partner Engineering

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
  • Experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with embedded system architecture and platforms such as Android or Linux.
  • Experience managing multiple products and streams of work with excellent time management.
  • Passion for innovation in the automotive field.

About the job

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and product partnerships.

You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

The Android Partner Engineering team works with a global and set of partners who use Android to build devices and services. The team works to align the goals of Google and its partners to make Android the platform of choice across multiple consumer and enterprise domains.

In this role, you will be responsible for enabling Android auto across multiple programs per year, with active users and growth opportunities in an industry going through major technological transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform implementation reviews, advocate new product features, and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
  • Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams including Product Management and Core Engineering.
  • Guarantee the technical aspects of a partner’s integration (both new and ongoing) by providing necessary documentation and technical guidance.
  • Identify, drive, and optimize technical and business process flows for existing and new opportunities by leveraging Google technologies.
  • Have the ability to communicate in English fluently in order to interact with stakeholders. Possess excellent presentation, communication, and convincing skills with external partners and internal cross functional teams.
