  • Project management experience, leading complex strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Expert knowledge and experience in video solutions, including knowledge of the competitive landscape.
  • A passion for YouTube as a platform.
  • Ability to present to executives and communicate with sales teams.
  • Distinctive problem-solving and investigative skills, combined with impeccable business judgment and clear communication.

As a Video Lead on our Retail Specialist Team, you will lead video strategy and activation to deliver growth across the Retail sector. You will drive accountability to the business by persistently uncovering business opportunities, developing industry go-to-market plays, and partnering with teams to grow our YouTube business across awareness, performance, and shopping solutions. You will need to anticipate how decisions are made, where our video products fit into a customer's business needs, and collaborate with our sales teams to drive growth.

Your knowledge of traditional and online media, combined with your team player mentality and sales drive, will shape how our existing video business grows. You will provide Google-caliber client service, shaping the Retail video strategy focused on our customer’s business objectives within Large Customer Sales.

As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $124000 - $180000 (USD) + 60% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted video advisor by developing strong agency and customer relationships to better understand how decisions are made to capitalize on positioning growth opportunities.
  • Partner with Industry Directors and sellers across the Retail sector to provide revenue-driving support through deep industry/business knowledge, product expertise, and go-to- market strategy.
  • Develop annual video strategy, gain agreement across stakeholders, and collaborate effectively to execute.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders across sales and product based on business rationale, advertiser needs, and revenue opportunity for the sector.
  • Represent product gaps and opportunities to Video Product Specialists and Go-to-Market Teams to accelerate business opportunities.
