Partner Communications Lead, To and Thru Partner

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in partner marketing, corporate communications, public relations, or ecosystem enablement within the enterprise technology or cloud computing industry.
  • 5 years of experience leading and managing cross-functional teams or direct reports in a global organization.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proven track record of driving communications for a large-scale partner ecosystem (GSIs, ISVs, resellers) with deep understanding of cloud marketplace dynamics.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and build collaborative relationships across global teams, effectively influencing executive stakeholder decisions.
  • Proven ability to translate complex corporate priorities into clear operational pillars, executive scorecards, and high-impact field execution motions.
  • Superb executive presence and leadership, with demonstrated ability to synthesize complex concepts into clear, simple, and compelling narratives for audiences.
  • Strong strategic thinking and operational accuracy, managing large budgets, cross-functional projects, and agency partners under tight deadlines.

As the Partner Communications Leader, you will lead Google’s strategy and execution on how we go to market to, with, and thru partners.

In this role, you will be responsible for establishing omni-channel strategy and execution of to-partner and thru-partner marketing and communications. Working closely with GSI, ISV, and Channel Segment Leaders, Partner Strategy and Operations, Product Engineering, and Sales, you will be an advocate of the Google Cloud Partner Network (GCPN) to recruit, develop, build, and grow an ecosystem capable of delivering solutions to customers across the planet, at scale.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $211000 - $293000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a global, omni-channel partner communications strategy to effectively engage, recruit, and enable GSIs, ISVs, and Channel partners within the Google Cloud Partner Network (GCPN).
  • Establish a high-impact communication drumbeat to land strategic big bets, product updates, program changes, and partner success stories across all major channels (e.g., newsletters, portal, social, executive keynotes, and events).
  • Partner cross-functionally with executive leadership across Partner Sales, Product Engineering, Strategy and Operations, Marketing, and Corporate Communications to align messaging and deliver unified global GTM campaigns.
  • Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing communications team, fostering an environment of continuous learning, strategic storytelling, well-sequenced editorial production, and operational excellence.
  • Develop metrics and measurement frameworks to track communication effectiveness, partner engagement, and business impact, leveraging data to continuously optimize outreach strategies.
