About the job

Brand Studio is focused on building the Google brand. By combining user insights, strategic thinking, beautiful design and storytelling, our team creates a wide range of work that drives Google’s reputation for being helpful to people, businesses, and communities. Our work also aims to build advocacy and trust in the brand. To achieve that, we’re a multidisciplinary team of marketers, strategists, insights specialists, creatives, producers, and engineers who work together to create exceptional marketing.

The Senior Creative role is responsible for developing strategically and conceptually strong brand campaigns for a wide audience. You will both lead and collaborate daily with a set of specialists from designers, writers, filmmakers, strategists, project managers, and producers. You will oversee brand storytelling across a variety of media including social, broadcast, print and documentary. You will not only be proficient in either writing or art direction, but also have meaningful experience leading creative work streams.

You will be trusted to generate the ideas required to solve a problem, even if the problem is ambiguous, and take full ownership of the solution, often involving many activities beyond creative (for example, scheduling, mentoring, brand and project advocacy, team building etc as needed).

Your portfolio demonstrates stellar storytelling chops and considerable film work — smart observations and well-crafted brand work is essential. You will be an experienced problem-solver that can think strategically, identify breakthrough concepts and ideas, and find unexpected ways to bring them to life.

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
