Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, digital marketing, consulting, media, or working with advertising agencies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients; facilitating and influencing at executive leadership level by building strong relationships.
  • Experience with performance media, including measurement, attribution, optimization and new business line development.
  • Experience partnering with clients on advertising products or marketing technology/ad technology (e.g., pitching solutions, consulting, project management, or demonstrating products).
  • Experience utilizing AI productivity tools to streamline business or development workflows.
  • Ability to work collaboratively on projects in a cross-functional team setting, both internally and externally.

As a Performance Account Executive for Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), you will lead and manage client and agency relationships. This requires you to be a focused, proactively self-initiate with the ability to multi-task in a changing environment, and be sales-focused to help expand client relationships. You will take a front seat to the rapidly evolving industry of CPG and gain first-hand access to some of the best marketers in the world to influence their strategy. Additionally, you will be an advisor and consultant, as well as a client advocate within Google.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Canada: $198000 - $202000 (CAD) + 75% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of CPG clients to drive measurable outcomes, leveraging strong relationships to scale performance-marketing best practices, optimize conversion strategies, and establish return on investment (ROI) benchmarks across the industry.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with executive-level decision-makers, specifically targeting Growth Marketing/Performance Leads, direct advertisers, and performance-focused agency contacts.
  • Develop a deep understanding of CPG advertisers' bottom-line metrics (e.g., return on Ad spend (ROAS), customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV)) and provide actionable, data-driven insights into lower-funnel consumer purchase behavior and conversion paths.
  • Solve for direct business impact and revenue growth by developing performance-driven campaigns, uniquely leveraging internal cross-functional teams to optimize campaign efficiency.
