  • 13 years of experience in a customer or client-facing role supporting strategy and planning.
  • 13 years of experience managing domestic and international projects.
  • 10 years of experience managing operations and leading cross-regional teams.
  • 6 years of experience in people management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in vendor operations management or overseeing vendor operations programs.
  • Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, team environment.
  • Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management within Google.

About the job

In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end YouTube vendor operations. You work on YouTube Tech Verticals (Tools and Infrastructure, Data and Insights, Partner Engineering) to enable support for users and creators across channels. You will have detailed knowledge of our constantly evolving product suite to ensure that user feedback flows to the stakeholders/product team and fuels innovation. In this highly cross-functional role, you will represent our users and problem-solve with the internal teams. You will process suggestions, bugs, abuse and other product information to ensure we are constantly improving the user experience.

You will manage critical workflows operated by vendors within the region. You will have end-to-end accountability of vendor performance for which includes, but not limited to overseeing staffing, service level agreement (SLA) adherence, quality performance and other operations metrics. You will be establishing the operation at one or more sites and partner with stakeholders, cross-functional teams and suppliers to make it a success. This role includes overall management responsibility for provisioning and enabling vendors to operate as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). You will also manage sections of the long-term global operational strategy and support model, including extended workforce decisions, agreements, vendor selection and continuous improvements of business processes.At YouTube, we believe that everyone deserves to have a voice, and that the world is a better place when we listen, share, and build community through our stories. US: $211000 - $294000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Coach and guide a team of high-performing vendor managers while fostering team wellness and high-performance dynamics and excellence.
  • Be accountable for flawless operations by managing overall vendor performance in the region, driving vendor selection, consultation, and overall vendor operations strategies.
  • Develop and maintain the overall regional workflow strategy, Identify and mitigate risk from a delivery standpoint and ensure operational compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Influence cross-functional directors and actively participate in discussions and decisions involving the Vice President+ leadership.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams locally and globally to drive continuous vertical and horizontal improvements at scale.
