Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to support regional business and clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in developing relationships with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Understanding of video/YouTube advertising.
  • Understanding of cross-functional media businesses and operations.

As an Industry Manager, you will be an architect of strategic growth, forging trusted alliances with C-level stakeholders to align on ambitious business goals. You will harness the power of predictive analytics to navigate profound industry shifts, winning with unique value and maximizing impact to prove the long-term success of our partners. In this role, you will leverage your business judgement to identify, educate, and engage customers with YouTube's latest advertising products and technologies. Utilizing influencing and relationship-building skills, you will provide Google-caliber client service, research, and market analysis, anticipating how decisions are made, understanding the details of individual campaigns, and persistently exploring, and uncovering the business needs of key business lines. Alongside our customers, you will set the goal and strategy for how their advertising can reach users.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, agencies, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and successful collaboration.
  • Lead the execution of strategies to drive adoption, revenue, and strategy for YouTube - leveraging digital marketing tools and platforms to optimize client advertising efforts.
  • Guide clients in leveraging their Intellectual Property (IP) to secure global branding prominence on YouTube, accelerating their transition from traditional media to digital, and driving bottom-line growth globally.
  • Analyze and optimize marketing Return on Investment (ROI) by monitoring and assessing the performance of digital campaigns for YouTube, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Oversee and coordinate with agency partners, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and utilization of resources to drive successful marketing initiatives.
