Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in technical program management, business process engineering, or technical operations.
  • Experience with data analysis, data parsing, or data modeling.
  • Experience managing cross-functional technical projects involving systems architecture, tool customization, or workflow automation.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience implementing AI-driven solutions, machine learning models, or advanced tooling automations to streamline complex business processes.
  • Experience working with large-scale global infrastructure, data center operations, network, or energy domains.
  • Experience defining technical schemas, system architectures, and business logic for cross-platform tool customizations (e.g., automated bug creation pipelines).
  • Proven track record of taking ownership of ambiguous operational challenges, building program roadmaps, and driving cross-functional process excellence.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform complex data modeling to drive strategic decisions, architect KPI programs, and influence executive leadership.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The Global Infrastructure and Energy organization is responsible for delivering the infrastructure to host and connect every machine and user on the internet with Carbon Free Energy. As part of the Commercial & Business Operations arm within the Global Operations for Assets and Tooling team, we're responsible for helping leadership run the business and support strategic negotiators land deals and maximize returns.

In this role, you will lead the strategic transformation of our operational workflows across the network, land, infrastructure, and energy domains. In this highly cross-functional business process engineering role, you will leverage your expertise in large-scale data analysis, data parsing, and modeling to architect comprehensive KPI programs and advocate the integration of AI and tooling automation to resolve bottlenecks. By streamlining end-to-end commercial approval processes, defining technical schema and architecture for tool customization, and transitioning manual tasks into scalable, tech-enabled solutions, empower leadership with actionable insights and accelerate execution. You will be a central strategic partner, driving process excellence and ensuring our business operations are efficient and ready to scale.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $163000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Lead business process engineering across network, land, infra, and energy domains, leveraging complex modeling and AI solutions to transform operational efficiency.
  • Architect and govern KPI programs utilizing large-scale data analysis and data parsing to automate commercial metrics, delivering actionable insights to leadership.
  • Streamline business approval processes by defining technical schemas and architecture for tool customization, enabling scalable workflows like automated bug creation.
  • Drive continuous operational improvements by auditing existing frameworks and replacing manual, time-consuming tasks with robust, tech-enabled solutions across global campuses.
  • Partner strategically with stakeholders and tooling teams to advocate process excellence, oversee automated tool integration, and ensure seamless organizational adoption.
