Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in consumer-facing social media marketing.
  • 3 years of experience in social media.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience driving earned conversation on social media and in PR.
  • Experience working with social talent such as creators/influencers.
  • Experience utilizing AI productivity tools to solve complex, multi-layered problems and streamline business or development workflows.
  • Experience in social channel management and with social media content publishing and reporting tools (e.g., Social Media Platform Business Manager, YouTube Studio, or other native channel platform tools).
  • Experience in consumer tech with product positioning and marketing.
  • Strong understanding of how social performance connects to brand marketing objectives and business KPIs.

As a Social Media Manager on the Platforms and Devices (P&D) Marketing team, you will lead strategy and execution for Google Chrome. You will grow in ambiguity and operate in a rapidly changing environment. You will have experience running global programs driving business impact through collaboration with both internal talent and external partners. You will understand platform nuances and how to cultivate community engagement through creative messaging. You will possess obsessive attention to detail and visual quality. You are the ultimate multitasker, able to manage heavy workloads efficiently while identifying opportunities to scale and streamline internal operations. You will be resourceful and highly adept at working cross-functionally to achieve goals.Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. US: $141000 - $205000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the editorial calendar across social channels, ensuring a consistent mix of always-on and campaign-based content.
  • Oversee end-to-end content quality and publishing, including creative reviews, platform optimization, and community engagement.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal makers and agency partners to ensure all creative work intended for social channels adheres to brand and legal standards.
  • Provide input on campaign briefs to shape impactful, platform-native organic social deliverables.
  • Analyze and report on content performance, surfacing insights that inform future content and platform strategy.
