FIA Advanced Work Packaging Lead

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Data Science, or an equivalent technical field.
  • 5 years of experience in technical program management, advanced work packaging (AWP), or capital project engineering within data centers, technical manufacturing, or modular construction environments.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in 3D/4D visual planning tools, ACC, BIM 360, Revit, Navisworks, or equivalent construction and design data environments.
  • Understanding of modular design, factory-built integration, and DFMA processes, with a track record of transitioning traditional construction processes to standardized assembly methods.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, with a proven capability to manage organizational boundaries, drive vendor agreement, partner with regional construction managers, designers, and estimating/controls teams.
  • Exceptional skills in data integration and analytics, with experience developing or maintaining data automation models, relational tracking systems, and reporting dashboards to identify and quantify execution trends.

Responsibilities

  • Act as technical author and owner for master Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) blueprints, schemas, and configurations (e.g., gPoR Mega Scale baselines).
  • Localize and improve site-specific Field Assembly Plants (FAPs) and Installation Work Packages (IWPs), converting legacy documents into structured executable baselines.
  • Partner with regional Building Information Modeling (BIM)/Design Strategy Leads to review and verify that localized AWP designs match baseline modular schemas before sign-off.
  • Apply Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) principles to shift field delivery from traditional stick-built construction to standardized modular assembly.
  • Maintain standardized work packages integrating construction, procurement, and commissioning for a unified lifecycle approach.
