Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in architecting the manufacturing test solutions or test engineering for consumer products or CPU/GPU/ML-accelerator based products.
- Experience in leading test development.
Preferred qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in test engineering with expertise in architecting complex manufacturing test solutions for CPU/GPU/ML-accelerator based products.
- Experience in creating end-to-end manufacturing test strategies spanning from component/structural testing through functional and system-level tests (L6/L10/L11).
- Experience leading test development teams and collaborating with contract manufacturers (CM/JDM) in high-volume production environments.
- Experience in Design for Testability (DFT), system calibration, Gauge R&R, and test correlation methodologies across hardware revisions.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, Shell scripting, and test automation within Linux environments.
- Ability to travel 15% of the time, as needed.

The ML Manufacturing Test Solutions team is responsible for the deployment of Machine Learning capacity in Google’s Fleet. We are leading cross-functional program planning and execution to deliver next generation Machine Learning systems from Concept to End of Life (EOL), with operational excellence and speed. As part of this team, your test solutions are fundamental to enabling the rapid and reliable scaling of Google's AI infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing test development teams through planning, development, and deployment of end-to-end test solutions to support volume manufacturing.
- Coordinate and execute board- and system-level test development activities, managing dependencies across internal engineering teams and external partners.
- Manage capacity, budget, schedule, and risks for manufacturing test development projects, ensuring tight alignment with NPI program milestones and schedules. Drive communication with key stakeholders regarding test development status via reviews and dashboards.
- Collaborate closely with Design Engineering teams on Design for Test (DFT) and manufacturability.
- Develop and maintain essential technical documentation, including product test strategies, test plans, procedures, and test process reports.
