Maintenance Planner (Dutch, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Certification (NL: MBO-4) or other verifiable training in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Refrigeration, Process and Operations, Maritime.
  • 1 year of experience in program or project management.
  • 1 year of experience working with a CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System).
  • Experience in computerized maintenance management system, preventative maintenance, maintenance, scheduling, stakeholder management, KPI management, business continuity, project planning, resource management, program management.
  • Ability to communicate in Dutch and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working with Maximo.
  • Demonstrated experience working in critical facilities or operations as a Maintenance Planner.
  • Knowledge of electrical/mechanical/cooling systems used in a critical industries environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent people management skills, ability to prioritize work efficiently.
  • EU Driving license Category B.

As a Data Center Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for the effective execution of all planning and scheduling of maintenance work. In order to fulfill these responsibilities in the most effective manner, you will work with the site management and technicians to manage work priority, develop job plans, define parts and materials, define trades and crafts, and engage the proper resources to develop a safe, effective, and efficient plan/schedule. In addition, you will provide the equipment-related expertise and technical guidance on improving Preventive Maintenance activities and work management processes.

In this role, you will be responsible for the use and administration of the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) program at a site level. This includes the creation, update, and maintenance of equipment, preventative maintenance (PM), and safety records within the CMMS program.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with facility management in the development and maintenance of schedules and resource leveling by utilizing the site CMMS program.
  • Establish and maintain CMMS equipment files, parts inventory, equipment bill of materials, and PM schedules.
  • Manage the process of launching our CMMS and work management processes at the site level to be used in the daily operation of the data center.
  • Drive CMMS data integrity by auditing work order completion data, root-cause coding, and asset history to improve scheduling accuracy and forecast reliability.
  • Manage the flow of all maintenance work orders by working with Data Center Operations teams and vendors. Ensure the streamlined scheduling, preparation, and coordination of preventive and corrective maintenance activities on mission-critical assets. Liaise between internal operational teams, technicians, and external contractors to ensure maximum uptime, safety, and operational continuity.
