Financial Analyst, Supply Chain Finance

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or a relevant advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in a high growth technology company.
  • Working knowledge of AI tools, SAP, tableau.
  • Strong track record of partnership and collaboration across stakeholders.
  • Organized, strategically focused, detail oriented and ability to navigate ambiguity in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and people management skills, comfortable with ambiguity.

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.

As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on one of Google’s most exciting product areas, Platforms and Devices Product Area.

This area includes Pixel phones, Pixel Buds, Pixel Watch, Fitbit, Nest Cameras and many more. Your responsibilities will include designing/improving critical financial infrastructure to support the business, track performance and optimize cost structures.

From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $116000 - $167000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Own budgeting, planning, forecasting, reporting, and monthly close activities for major hardware COGS accounts. Provide analytical support on business cases for savings, feature trade-offs, process improvements, and infrastructure optimization to drive portfolio efficiencies.
  • Partner across Product, Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Central Finance to set and track cost goals and monitor performance. Collaborate with functional teams to identify industry and business trends posing financial risks.
  • Enhance existing initiatives and implement new policies to boost efficiency and enable scalable growth.
  • Manage the operational cadence for sizable charge accounts, including Long-Range Plan (LRP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) submission cycles.
  • Drive AI adoption within planning and forecasting workflows to automate inputs, reduce manual effort, and improve scenario-modeling accuracy.
