Manager, Americas Global Scaled Delivery, gTech Ads Sellside (English, Portuguese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
  • 2 years of experience in people management.
  • Experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
  • Experience designing AI-powered solutions and autonomous workflows, mapping AI optimizations to clear return on investment frameworks and business growth.
  • Expertise in digital advertising, technical sales, and Google’s sell-side business generation products to lead complex partner transformations.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish fluently to build strong stakeholder relationships, effectively bridging technical and business audiences across LATAM.
  • Excellent technical project management skills to navigate ambiguity, scale operations, and align cross-functional teams around strategic plans.

gTech Ads is responsible for all support and media and technical services for customers big and small across our entire Ad products stack. We help our customers get the most out of our Ad and Publisher products and guide them when they need help. We provide a range of services from enabling better self help and in-product support, to providing better support through interactions, setting up accounts and implementing ad campaigns, and providing media solutions for customers business and marketing needs and providing complex technical and measurement solutions along with consultative support for our large customers. These solutions range from bespoke and customized ones for our customers to scalable support for millions of customers worldwide. Based on the evolving needs of our ads customers, we partner with Sales, Product and Engineering teams within Google to develop better solutions, tools, and services to improve our products and enhance our client experience. As a cross-functional and global team, we ensure our customers get the best return on investment with Google and we remain a trusted partner.

In this role, you will lead a team of technical thought leaders who seek to understand our publishers’ business objectives and are committed to helping them achieve those goals through technical troubleshooting, innovation, and executional excellence.The team acts as pre and post-sales specialists using technical expertise and operational experience to consult with and support publishers using Google Ad Manager ad serving and yield management products. You will serve as a liaison between the Partner Technology and Operations team, Google Product and Engineering, and Google Sales teams and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead 8+ person organization delivering technical troubleshooting support and solutions across Gold and Silver tier publishers in the Americas.
  • Serve as the regional escalation point and trusted technical advisor for strategic Americas Gold and Silver publisher partners, ensuring high-quality solution delivery and issue resolution.
  • Drive the strategic goal of the organization, establishing close relationships with executive leaders across gTech.
  • Ensure strategic alignment on opportunities and customer priorities making technical services an engaged differentiator while driving efficiency.
  • Manage and direct executive level conversations with stakeholders and customers to successfully translate business objectives into technical projects.
