Associate Product Marketing Manager, APAC

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in marketing, brand management, strategy consulting, agency, technology, or a related field through full time roles, internships, projects, or academic classes.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of total full-time work experience.
  • Possess a deep understanding of and enthusiasm for Google's product ecosystem, technological innovations, and leadership in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) space. This should be paired with a proven interest in marketing and tech and a solid understanding of Google’s AI tools.
  • Demonstrated global mindset and ability to think across disciplines, industries, cultures and scenarios, with comfort with ambiguity and being agile.
  • Developed program/project management and communication skills.

About the job

As an APMM (Associate Product Marketing Manager), you will join a two-year, cohort-based development program within Google’s marketing team. You will complete at least two distinct marketing-based assignments across different product areas under the scope of larger initiatives, with general guidance. You will have the opportunities to develop new marketing skills, connect with diverse audiences, bring the voice of the user into the product development process, and build go-to-market plans that drive awareness and adoption for new products and features. You will also manage campaigns, drive growth marketing and optimization, contribute to Google’s brand strategy, and generate actionable user insights. You will take part in unique learning experiences, complete structured development milestones, and attend dedicated training and workshops to grow yourself and your career. You will also have the opportunity to take on leadership and organizing initiatives around topics such as Building Opportunities for Leadership and Development (BOLD), branding, and cultivating an inclusive team culture. You will be supported by dedicated mentors and executive leaders while actively contributing to a renowned, close-knit network.Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. Responsibilities

  • Execute or manage campaigns, assets, communications, and programs to address user needs, team objectives, and key results (OKRs) and evaluate/analyze campaign performance for optimization, recommend channels for reaching and engaging users, and support, contribute to, or lead integrated channels to meet goals.
  • Create, review, or approve marketing content to ensure that positioning of the product is aligned with the product strategy, iterate the content and design along with cross-functional or cross-regional teams based on content standards, styles, and format, and collaborate with the production team to publish the marketing content.
  • Identify research needs, scope, manage, or guide user research by leveraging internal and external research partners.
