Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Quantitative field, Business Administration, Technology Management, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program management, business operations, planning, or technology project management.
  • Experience with change management and managing cross-functional initiatives with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience managing vendors, forecasting costs, and tracking budgets.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the tech industry at a multinational organization.
  • Experience deploying enterprise physical security systems including both hardware and software (e.g., CCTV, PACS, VMS).

About the job

As a member of the Global Security Systems and Technology (GSST) sub team in GSRS, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies, develop efficient and effective programs, and leverage technology solutions that support GSRS in achieving its mission.

The Technology Enablement Manager is part of the Central Operations and Tech Enablement team within GSST. You will drive operational excellence by transforming regional security needs into structured, successfully landed technology solutions. Serving as the primary bridge between end-users including Security Operations and the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) and technical teams, this role manages the end-to-end life-cycle of security systems projects and deployments. This individual will establish structured intake processes, define comprehensive requirements, work closely with engineering partners, manage timelines, provide communications across all levels of the business, and institutionalize rigorous documentation and training frameworks.

From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $140000 - $204000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of security systems technology projects.
  • Represent GSST and interface with executives across customer verticals (e.g., GSOC, SecOps, regional partners), translating ambiguous operational requests and feedback into structured business requirements.
  • Drive end-to-end project management, track timelines, mitigate risks, manage integration vendors, author SOPs/runbooks, and deliver targeted training for smooth handovers.
  • Conduct post-deployment health checks and validation reviews to ensure delivered systems meet operational benchmarks and match the original intent, while gathering feedback to drive iterative scaling.
