About the job

As a member of the Real Estate team, you are a critical thinker with versatile knowledge on the front lines of Google's physical expansion. Google cannot grow without you. You are part of a team with a wide range of responsibilities including lease administration, real estate transaction management, and the design and construction supervision of our next and ever expanding offices. You help manage the spatial requirements for a workforce that is growing at lightning speed to ensure that the job is not only done to Google's high and industry-setting standards, but also in a way that promises long-term sustainability and care for our world's resources.

The Real Estate Solutions (RES) team manages the end-to-end transaction lifecycle of Google’s real estate holdings across APAC (excl. India), creating a single point of accountability for transaction delivery.

Your primary goal is to provide cost-effective and flexible real estate solutions for Google. You will devise and execute a full range of real estate transaction strategies—including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, developments, and subleases—to optimize portfolio performance, mitigate risk, and maximize economic and operational value.

You will partner with regional and workplace leaders to develop and deliver customized supply-side strategies, leveraging workplace insights to meet business needs. You will act with agility and speed to ensure Google’s regional real estate portfolio is optimized for growth, resilience, and total cost efficiency.

You will operate as a trusted advisor and assemble cross-functional teams of subject matter experts across Legal, Finance, Tax, Development, and Operations to execute transactions according to agreed financial goals and strategic agreements.

The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team creates inspiring spaces and innovative services that bring Google’s culture and values to life. We build and maintain all aspects of what keeps our Googley workspaces operating seamlessly across multiple cities and regions globally. We also manage the industry-leading services that help make Google a great place to work -- from how we design healthy and collaborative workspaces, create energizing food experiences, provide convenient transportation and fitness options, to delivering environments where Google and our employees can thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, investigate, and execute regional real estate transactions across Singapore and the broader APAC region (covering office, warehouse, land, and retail asset classes) including leases, acquisitions, developments, expansions, and subleases.
  • Develop a detailed pipeline of real estate strategy and capitalize on market opportunities to drive proactive, agile real estate solutions aligned with business growth and partner requirements.
  • Negotiate directly with landlords, developers, and property owners, delivering execution plans for complex transactions at high volume and scale.
  • Assemble and lead cross-functional teams across REWS, Legal, Finance, Tax, and Compliance to ensure transactions are performed according to agreed financial goals and space delivery schedules.
  • Enforce financial discipline across transactions, operating as a trusted real estate subject matter expert and advisor to drive key operational and economic benefits while minimizing long-term legal liabilities.
