YouTube Industry Manager, Large Customer Sales

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the digital media landscape including formats, buy types, and strategies across the sales funnel. Knowledge of YouTube, Video, TV, Display, Social and an understanding of engaging pitching and objection handling.
  • Strong project management and client-facing experience, delivering high-profile projects and influencing executive stakeholders while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Cross-functional understanding of media businesses and operations.
  • A deep understanding of Google's business, the current video market-place (e.g., Online Video and TV) and especially the YouTube advertising options.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio, exceed sales targets, and drive business growth.

As a YouTube Industry Manager, you will be an architect of strategic growth for the YouTube Business, forging trusted alliances with C-level stakeholders to align on ambitious business goals. You will harness the power of generative AI and predictive analytics to navigate profound industry shifts, winning with unique value and maximizing impact to prove the long-term success of our partners. You will leverage exceptional commercial acumen, sales hunger, and business judgment to identify, educate, and engage customers with YouTube's latest advertising products and technologies. You will craft and pitch differentiated solutions that showcase Google’s competitive advantage, unlock new relationships and revenue streams, and set the long-term goal and strategy for how our partners connect with audiences.Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth and commercial growth by identifying and closing YouTube opportunities, executing targeted strategies with digital marketing tools to scale client adoption, maximize advertising performance, and accelerate global business growth.
  • Build trusted executive relationships to challenge legacy media models, shifting offline and TV budgets into digital video while coordinating with agency partners for maximum campaign impact.
  • Scale advanced Video and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions by advocating YouTube’s full product suite, guiding brands through the adoption of AI-powered reach formats, video performance tools, and strategic creator ecosystem partnerships to secure brand control.
  • Partner with internal Google teams to upskill the broader sales organization and operationalize scalable YouTube best practices across key markets.
  • Deliver data-motivated ROI and Insights by leveraging actionable platform analytics to craft business cases, justify client investments, and continually optimize overall campaign returns.
