Manager, Ads Solution Engineering

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • 8 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • Experience in technical leadership, including experience leading business transformation initiatives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in an analytical role such as business intelligence, data analytics, or statistics.
  • Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments or cloud data engineering.
  • Experience using machine learning and building solutions.
  • Experience working with systems (e.g., Linux, Unix).

As a part of the gTech Ads Solutions team, you will bring a creative, collaborative, and customer-centric approach to provide consulting and scaled engineering solutions to advertisers. In this role, you will be a part of the Ads Solutions Engineering (ASE) team within gTech Ads Solutions, which leverages technology to build and scales advertising solutions to customers/agencies across industries and segments. You will help customers/agencies achieve their business goals while building long-term tech and marketing capabilities through technical implementation, optimization, and engineering solutions,.

In this role, you will lead a group of engineers who develop technical solutions to meet our most complex customer needs and help the Google Ads Business unlock growth. You will collaborate with Sales, Product leads, and other cross-functional teams to deliver technical services for customers.Google creates products and services that make the world a better place, and gTech’s role is to help bring them to life. Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Customer and Partner Solutions Engineers focusing on team culture, talent strategy, and skills development to deliver scaled technical solutions aligned to Google Ads Product priorities to customers globally.
  • Deliver the strategic goal for the organization, working with sales teams, product leads, and cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment with customer needs and co-ordinated execution for key priorities.
  • Provide thought leadership and develop new AI solution offerings for the team as aligned with organizational goals of product and enablement organizations to maximize output and impact.
  • Drive change management on initiatives that increase automation, integration with AI and efficiency of complex, multifaceted workflows and processes, for both Google and customers.
