Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on partner marketing, business development, or product marketing.
  • Experience setting positioning and GTM strategy using growth insights to develop business cases for global partnerships or products.
  • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects with both internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in subscriptions marketing.
  • Experience utilizing AI productivity tools to solve complex, multi-layered problems and streamline business or development workflows.
  • Data-oriented mindset with experience analyzing data, identifying trends, presenting key findings, applying findings, and integrating partner campaigns into holistic measurement and messaging platforms.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling global co-marketing programs with external partners.
  • Ability to influence cross-functionally across all levels of management, including VP and C-suite.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The YouTube Music and Premium (YTMP) Marketing team is part of the YouTube Marketing organization, and at over 125 million subscribers globally, YTMP has become a critical business and business-driver. YTMP provides fans with the most immersive and flexible way to experience the content they love, while building a robust economic engine that rewards creators and artists. As part of the YTMP Marketing team, you will join a group of strategic thinkers dedicated to delivering a supercharged YouTube experience and converting viewers into engaged subscribers.

The Partnership Marketing Manager will drive growth for YTMP through high-impact global partnerships – executing integrated strategies that leverage external partners (telcos, automobiles, media platforms, retailers) to drive consideration and paid subscriptions. We are looking for someone who can build innovative co-marketing campaigns, develop toolsets and processes to support scaling our global business, influence cross-functional roadmaps through data driven insights, and foster strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $116000 - $166000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Drive global GTM strategy and marketing relationships with key partners (mobile and device platforms, automobiles) to scale subscriptions using data-driven insights and innovative business incentives.
  • Orchestrate integrated, full-funnel bespoke campaigns, ensuring brand integrity and optimized end-to-end consumer experiences across all partner touchpoints.
  • Evaluate/analyze campaign performance for optimizations, including recommended channels and messaging updates for reaching and engaging users. Apply measurement frameworks to ensure optimal performance outcomes and to influence commercial terms for priority partners. 
  • Lead internal (Product, Engineering, Data Science) and external stakeholders to resolve complex partnership hurdles and scale third-party subscription growth.
