Minimum qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in technology sales or working with customers in a sales role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in technology sales, strategic partnerships, or business development.
  • Experience leading large-scale GTM initiatives and negotiating landmark deals.
  • Experience driving technology adoption strategy at a regional or global level.
  • Exceptional ability to collaborate and influence across matrixed organizations (Sales, Product, Engineering).
  • Recognized thought leadership in the EdTech or Education sector.

Google for Education is dedicated to transforming the future of learning through technology. The Education Go-to-Market (GTM) team brings Google’s portfolio of devices (Chromebooks), cloud services (Workspace for Education), and AI tools (Gemini) to K-12 and Higher Education institutions. We help educational systems modernize their environments and improve learning outcomes.

As a Lead Field Sales Representative, you will be a strategic leader in the region, driving major GTM initiatives and high-value partnerships. You will influence VP/Director-level stakeholders internally and externally, and serve as a model of sales excellence for the team.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain significant overachievement of sales metrics (top 5% of organization), securing landmark deals and cross-product area partnerships.
  • Be a thought leader and trusted advisor by CxOs in the industry beyond a specific account base.
  • Initiate, lead, and deliver regional/global projects with Managing Director/VP visibility. Influence Product and Engineering teams.
  • Be an exemplar of Google values, leading complex cross-functional (inter-product area) projects and culture-lifting initiatives.
