About the job

As a member of the Content Safety team, you will join our Personalized Ads and Healthcare initiatives. You will work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers, product managers and policy teams to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google scale and speed. You aren't just reacting to threats; you are a big-picture strategist working at "Google speed" alongside engineers and product leaders to outpace bad actors and protect user trust. You take pride knowing that every day you are working hard to promote trust in the Google brand, and ensure the highest levels of user safety while optimizing advertiser experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding the Google Ads ecosystem. Your role is a blend of technical data analysis, strategic cross-functional leadership, and direct investigative work. You will use data to predict their next moves, influence how engineering teams build detection systems, and ensure that safety measures do not disrupt the experience for legitimate advertisers.

Our team is at the forefront of raising the bar on content through coherent policies and scaled, effective enforcement. We have expanded beyond traditional product protections to manage emerging challenges—including brand safety, controversial content, violent extremism, and political interference driving expertise across Google's growing Ads ecosystem.

You will partner with key stakeholders to optimize operational performance, scale cross-functional initiatives, and lower abuse rates. You will deliver high-impact solutions with a focus on user trust, operational efficiency, and abuse mitigation strategies. You will align with product, policy, and engineering teams to implement scalable enforcement frameworks.
