Engagement Manager, gTech Ads (English, Korean)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
  • Customer-facing experience translating technical concepts and solutions to non-technical and executive audiences.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently in order to interact with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to develop internal and external stakeholder networks, especially more technical and product relationships navigating Google and client side to build relationships necessary to deliver against strategic plans and projects.
  • Ability to grow in ambiguity, solve complex problems and navigate effectively across a large organization and highly distributed team.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to adapt a narrative to both technical and business audiences, including C-levels audiences.
  • Strong technical consultation, product and media skills enabling multiple cross-functional teams to deliver against the growth plans and pod objectives.
  • Evidence of commercially minded decision-making skills when navigating prioritization.

About the job

gTech Ads is a team of thought leaders, addressing our clients complex business challenges, and program managers, designing plans and gathering resources to help accomplish our ambition for excellent end-to-end experience.

As an Engagement Manager, you will be key in creating an excellent end-to-end experience for Google’s top Ads clients, by being accountable for gTech service delivery, product aligned growth plans, and enabling sales objectives. You will serve as a unified services partner who design and orchestrate gTech end-to-end services, and represent gTech Ads to sellers and client executives. You will play a complementary role to sellers, through their technical, media and product skills. You will act as the bridge between Google Ads and client’s Customer Business Objectives (CBOs).

Responsibilities

  • Understand how technology and media solutions can address their business challenges, architect services plans to accomplish goals, and deliver on technical and global projects.
  • Discover customer needs by understanding clients annual and quarterly challenges/goals in collaboration with sales.
  • Design and finalize a joint services plan by aligning solutions and resources to client focus areas in collaboration with gTech Ads delivery resources, and unlock new opportunities for growth by scoping projects that connect across the entire suit of gTech Ads services.
  • Orchestrate delivery of the services plan working with gTech Ads Execution teams in region, customer support and media solutions, and collaborate with customer support to engage on high-visibility escalations when needed.
  • Act as a primary point of accountability for gTech Ads go-to-market and execution by conducting regular debriefs on progress with clients and sales.
