Strategic Partner Manager, Global Channel Partners (Korean, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, product management, or tech consulting.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in English and Korean with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to promote, influence, and drive complex product integrations.
  • Ability to exceed quarterly business goals within the context of channel partnerships.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional internal and external stakeholders and influence their prioritization and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Ability to think strategically about complex issues and develop recommendations and action plans.
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholder groups of all levels, on both technical and non-technical matters.

As a Strategic Partner Manager, you will combine your entrepreneurial nature and persuasive communication skills to build and grow successful partnerships, influence internal and external partners, and implement strategic partnership plans. You will be called upon to help both large, incumbent technology platforms as well as technology start-ups, who provide native digital advertising solutions to small businesses. You will drive a variety of initiatives ranging from helping partners build and scale a Google Ads channel program, to negotiating complex agreements, to aligning cross-functional teams towards One-Google objectives. Responsibilities

  • Drive advertiser acquisition, business growth, and product adoption through channel partners.
  • Lead cross-functional (e.g. Go-To-Market (GTM), Product, Business Development (BD)) and cross-Product Area efforts toward common partnership objectives.
  • Advise partners on how to integrate with Google Ads and execute GTM plans to drive new advertiser adoption.
  • Forecast and report ad spend and other key metrics. Lead ad-hoc projects focused on the strategic growth of the program.
  • Speak at relevant external events as Google advocate.
