As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) in Chrome AI Security, you will lead complex, cross-functional programs deployed on Chrome and across the Web Platform. The integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) and self-sustaining AI agents into the browser represents a fundamental architectural shift in computing, transitioning from human-speed interactions to probabilistic, multi-step agentic workflows. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring Chrome remains the world's safest browser by defining and executing strategies to secure the agentic web.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $163000 - $237000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Drive development of new web platform APIs that help sites better distinguish between sources of traffic, while ensuring the web remains open for all.
  • Lead strategy for the team’s thought leadership in AI security space through engagement in standards bodies and publishing white papers.
  • Lead efforts working across Chrome Security in identifying risks, driving security outcomes, and creating executive briefings for Chrome leadership. Provide security expertise and guidance to a set of Chrome engineering and business teams.
  • Work across cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers in executing projects from concept to launch including planning, tracking progress, identifying and resolving issues, and managing dependencies.
  • Use AI to drive efficiency improvements in product development.
