About the job

With the widespread impact of AI technologies, the growth and diversification of our products, and the proliferation of new global regulations, we face one of the most exciting and challenging compliance moments as a company. The Risk, Compliance and Integrity (RCI) organization brings together critical compliance, assurance, risk, and governance functions across Google to make compliance a competitive advantage.

Operating as a horizontal, full-lifecycle group, the RCI Global Compliance Enablement team serves as the connective tissue that converts regulatory obligations into tactical operations. Our core mission is to mitigate enterprise risk while enabling product areas to innovate rapidly and safely. We collaborate with an array of teams across Compliance to streamline access to compliance lifecycle data, promote product area engagement, and direct compliance education.

In this role, you will connect regulatory intake and obligations mapping with business velocity. Working with a high degree of autonomy in a dynamic environment, you will transform intricate regulatory lifecycle patterns into scalable data architectures, automated reporting, and intuitive visualizations.

You will navigate changing workflows and adopt emerging capabilities while maintaining partner alignment throughout transitions. You will provide daily direction to a small vendor team and collaborate extensively with cross-lifecycle groups. Your primary responsibilities include expanding the CCO’s capacity to track, comprehend, report on, and identify risk across the end-to-end compliance lifecycle, as well as continuously driving new data toward general availability for compliance partners. Additionally, you will seek to embed new technologies to boost velocity, enhance precision, minimize risk, and lower operational toil throughout the lifecycle.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $164000 - $240000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
