Product Manager, Media Effectiveness Measurement and Partnerships

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management, or a related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch, including launching data products or developer APIs.
  • Experience managing external technical partnerships, integrations, or developer ecosystems.
  • Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
  • 2 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 1 year of experience in technical leadership.

As a Product Manager focusing on Media Effectiveness Measurement, you will sit at the intersection of product strategy, industry ecosystem engineering, and strategic alliances. Google’s advertising ecosystem thrives on trust, and independent, accredited third-party validation is critical to ensuring global advertisers have confidence in their media spend across YouTube, Search, and programmatic channels.

In this role, you will lead the product outlook, technical strategy, and integration roadmap for global measurement solutions. You will architect scalable, privacy-safe APIs and data-sharing frameworks that enable external partners to validate Google's ads metrics. This is a highly visible role requiring strong technical depth, deep industry acumen, and the ability to navigate complex partner dynamics.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $163000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Own the multi-year technical product roadmap for Google's third-party measurement ecosystem, ensuring integrations are robust, scalable, and ahead of industry privacy standards.
  • Design data frameworks, differential privacy, and secure multi-party computation to allow partners to audit media effectiveness without exposing user-level data.
  • Serve as the technical and product representative with external measurement executives, industry bodies, and agency partners to align on global measurement standards.
  • Lead a matrixed team of software engineers, data scientists, legal counsels, and partnership managers to ship highly secure APIs, data pipelines, and partner-facing tooling.
  • Balance commercial objectives with the strict requirement for independent, unbiased third-party validation to advocate for partner ecosystem health.
